How is Talalay latex foam made? Below is a step by step process to making Talalay latex foam.
Step 1 - Pour the Latex
Latex is poured in into the mold.
Step 2 - Forced Expansion
The mold is closed and the suction begins. The latex foam begins to expand as the air is taken out.
Step 3 - CO2 Injection
At one point the suction has reached its maximum and CO2 is injected into the mold to fully expand the latex foam, completing the expansion process.
Step 4 - Baking Process
The mold is then heated to bake the talalay latex foam. Steel pins are added to the mold which bake the latex fast and gives latex foam it's unique look.
